MakeMyTuition is an online platform that helps students and parents find and connect with tutors. We act only as a facilitator/intermediary. The actual teaching arrangement is between the student/parent and the tutor.
2. Eligibility & Account
- You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information while registering.
- Users under 18 must use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. User Responsibilities
- Do not post false, misleading, abusive, obscene or unlawful content.
- Do not impersonate any person or misrepresent your qualifications.
- Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, copy or misuse the platform or its data.
- Do not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
4. Tutors
Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, qualifications and experience. While we try to verify tutors, we do not guarantee their performance, availability or results. Students/parents are advised to use their own judgement before finalising a tutor.
5. Fees & Payments
Some features or plans may be paid. Applicable fees will be shown before payment. Fees paid are governed by the refund terms shown at the time of purchase. Tuition fees between student and tutor are settled directly unless stated otherwise.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform - including logo, design, text, graphics and software - is owned by or licensed to MakeMyTuition and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, nor any specific academic result.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeMyTuition shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, or from any dealings between students, parents and tutors.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these terms or misuse the platform. You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for payments made to MakeMyTuition. Please read it carefully before making any payment.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies only to amounts paid to MakeMyTuition (for example subscription plans, premium features or registration/service fees). Tuition fees that a student or parent pays directly to a tutor are a private arrangement between them, and MakeMyTuition is not responsible for refunding them.
2. Eligibility for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:
- You were charged twice for the same service (duplicate payment).
- Money was deducted from your account but the service was not activated.
- A technical error on our side prevented you from using the paid service.
- We were unable to provide the service you paid for.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Change of mind after the service or plan has been activated or used.
- Dissatisfaction with a tutor's teaching style, schedule or results, as we only act as a facilitator.
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
- Payments made directly to a tutor outside the platform.
- Requests made after the refund request window has ended.
4. How to Request a Refund

- Your registered name, email and phone number.
- Transaction ID, date and amount paid.
- Reason for the refund request, with a screenshot if available.
5. Review & Processing Time
We will review your request within 3-5 working days. If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method and usually reflects within 7-10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Cancellation of Services
You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not by itself entitle you to a refund for the period already used.
7. Returns
MakeMyTuition provides digital services only and does not sell physical goods, so no product returns apply.

MakeMyTuition gives you full control over your account. This policy explains how you can delete your account and what happens to your data afterwards. It applies to students, parents and tutors.
1. How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to info@makemyhhhhhhtuition.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- Mention your registered name and phone number so we can identify your account.
- You may also request deletion from within the mobile app, where this option is available.
2. Identity Verification
To protect your account from misuse, we may ask you to verify your identity (for example through an OTP or a reply from your registered email) before processing the request.
3. What Gets Deleted
- Your profile information, including name, photo, contact details and preferences.
- For tutors - qualification details, documents and profile listing.
- For students/parents - saved requirements, enquiries and tutor shortlists.
- Your login access to the website and app.
4. What We May Retain
Some information may be kept for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate purposes, such as payment and invoice records, records needed to resolve disputes or prevent fraud, and anonymised data that cannot identify you.
5. Processing Time
Your account is deactivated immediately after verification, and permanent deletion is completed within 30 days. During this period you may contact us to cancel the request.

- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once completed.
- Any active paid plan will end and is subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
- Pending tuition arrangements should be settled with the other party before deletion.

1. Choosing a Tutor
- Review the tutor's profile, qualification, subjects and experience before contacting.
- Ask for a demo class, where available, to check if the teaching style suits the student.
- Check the tutor's verification status on their profile.
- Use your own judgement before finalising any tutor, as we facilitate but do not guarantee results.
2. Safety First
- Parents of students under 18 should be aware of and involved in the tuition arrangement.
- For home tuition, parents are advised to be present or nearby, especially during the first few sessions.
- For online classes, use a shared family space and keep the session on a trusted platform.
- Never share passwords, OTPs, bank details or other sensitive information with anyone.
3. Respectful Behaviour
- Treat tutors and other users politely; abuse, harassment or discrimination is not tolerated.
- Be punctual and inform the tutor in advance if a class needs to be rescheduled or cancelled.
- Give honest and fair feedback and reviews based on your actual experience.
4. Fees & Payments
- Discuss and agree on fees, schedule and duration directly with the tutor before starting.
- Pay only through safe and traceable methods and keep a record of payments.
- MakeMyTuition does not take responsibility for payments made directly to tutors.
5. Accurate Information
Provide correct details about the student's class, subject and requirements so we can match you with suitable tutors. Do not post false or misleading information.
6. Reporting a Problem
If a tutor behaves inappropriately, shares misleading information or asks for money outside the agreed terms, please report it immediately at info@makemyhhhhhhtuition.com or call +91 8787878787. We will review the matter and may suspend the account involved.
7. Consequences of Violation
Violation of these guidelines may result in warning, temporary suspension or permanent removal of the account, as per our Terms & Conditions.

1. Why We Verify
Verification builds trust and safety. It helps students and parents identify tutors whose identity and qualifications have been checked against the documents they submitted.
2. Documents Required
- Identity proof: a valid government-issued ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence.
- Qualification proof: mark sheets or certificates of the highest qualification claimed.
- Experience proof (if claimed): experience letter, school/institute ID or similar document.
- Profile photo: a clear, recent photograph of the tutor.
- Contact verification: verified mobile number and email address.
3. Verification Process
- The tutor registers and uploads the required documents.
- Our team reviews the documents and checks them against the profile details.
- We may contact the tutor by phone, email or video call for confirmation.
- Once approved, the profile shows a "Verified" status.
4. What Verification Means
Verification confirms that the tutor submitted valid identity and qualification documents which appeared genuine at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of teaching quality, availability, behaviour or academic results. Students and parents should still use their own judgement.
5. Tutor Responsibilities
- Submit only genuine, unaltered documents and accurate information.
- Keep profile details updated and inform us of any change in qualification or contact details.
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct with students and parents.
6. Re-Verification & Removal
We may re-verify tutors at any time. If a document is found to be fake, misleading or misused, or a tutor violates our policies, we may remove the verified badge, suspend or permanently terminate the account, and take legal action where required.
7. Data Protection
Documents submitted for verification are used only for verification and safety purposes, stored securely and handled as described in our Privacy Policy. They are not shown publicly.
